Angela Wooten graduated from the University of North Texas in 1977 with a Master's Degree in audiology. She has been actively working in the field since. Angela is a member of the Austin Audiology Society, the Texas Academy of Audiology, the Scott Haug Foundation, the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. She maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence with ASHA and a license to practice audiology with the State Committee of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Angela has had extensive experience fitting hearing aids to all age groups. She regularly attends continuing education courses in audiology and hearing aids. She has had several years of experience testing young children for a pediatric otolaryngologist. Children are often referred to Lakeview Hearing Center from area physicians, schools, and the Early Childhood Identification Programs in Central Texas. Lakeview Hearing Center works competently with all age groups.
Angela (Angie) enjoys playing the banjo in an old-time stringband with her husband, kayaking, hiking and biking in the country and hanging out with her grandson, Torey. She has a couple dogs who keep her humble.
Brae McDougald joined Lakeview Hearing Center in January, 2005. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Master of Arts degree in Audiology in 2004. She is a member of the Austin Audiological Society, American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence with ASHA and a license to practice audiology with the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Brae regularly attends continuing education classes on the subject of audiology; specifically on hearing loss and hearing aids.
When Brae is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, exercising, dancing, scrapbooking, and laughing. She is also active in her community and church.
Evangelina received a degree in Information Technology from the Computer Learning Center in Dallas, Texas in 1999. She has worked in medical and dental clinics and has been with our Center since September 2009. She is the one who keeps the office running smoothly and is the friendly person you meet at our front desk when you come here. She loves working with people and will help you schedule your appointments or find one of the audiologists when you need them. When she is not here her life revolves around her family and their involvement in soccer and other activities.
